APPLY RUSTSEAL IN THIN COATS
Remember that RustSeal should be applied in THIN coats. Applying too heavily, will cause running and/or sagging on vertical surfaces, and possible bubbling on horizontal surfaces. As RustSeal cures, it releases a small amount of carbon dioxide. If allowed to “puddle”, the top of the RustSeal directly exposed to the ambient humidity in the air (the actual catalyst for RustSeal) will begin to "skin" over. This "skinning over" is much like that of chocolate pudding and blocks the release of the afore mentioned carbon dioxide causing bubbles. By applying thin coats, this film cures through and through all at once.

A TIP FOR REPAIRING RUSTED OUT PINHOLES:
Put a piece of tape behind the larger pinholes, then paint with 2 coats of RustSeal. When the RustSeal dries, pull the tape off and coat the the back side with RustSeal as well.

"Yes I did have the chance to use your rust seal! And I have to admit it is a bit better than the other two leading sellers. It was a hot day and humid too, since I’m in texas, and it went on nice but didn’t tack up for over an hour. But within two hours it was a really nice finish and really secured the little rust area’s very nicely!
I will be ordering another gallon within the next month or so when I go to finish the floors on my camaro. I have attached a photo or two for you.

I would just like to say that I am very pleased with your product. the Frame Coater Kit was complete even with gloves. Most importantly, your product did what it claimed it would do which ironically is hard to find nowadays. The product is professional grade but very user friendly.

Do you always seem to have paint peeling from your wood windowsills, doors, door frames or thresholds…no matter what you do? The key is to permanently waterproof & seal the wood surface using RustSeal. Yes, RustSeal will stop the damaging effects of water penetration not only for metal but wood as well.
